Our Story
The Gear Changer began as a simple idea: sharing career change tips while doing something I love - riding my bike.
​
As I pedalled through open roads and winding trails, I started posting short videos. I'd share advice on topics like figuring out what career path you really want, identifying transferable skills, and embracing the value of lifelong learning. It was my way of combining two passions - cycling and helping people unlock their potential.
​
What started as a hobby quickly gained traction and evolved into something bigger. I began offering career coaching for professional cyclists, helping them navigate life beyond sport. My role leading the Personal Development and Welfare Programme at the Professional Cricketers Association, and being a former professional sportsperson, opened my eyes to a broader need. I saw how deeply career and identity were intertwined, especially for high achievers whose professional lives often define them.

Like many of the people I now work with, I've navigated my own career transition. I know how hard it can be to shift gears, leave behind what's familiar, and carve out a new path. That's why I created The Gear Changer - to guide others through the challenges and possibilities of career transition.
​
Today, The Gear Changer is so much more than a coaching service. It's a hub for growth and transformation, offering Career Transition Coaching, Workshop Facilitation, Masterclasses, and Training and Consultancy services. It's a place where high performers can reconnect with their core identity and find a new purpose, whether they're shifting careers, industries, or even redefining success itself.
